At first, I loathe the alieney looks. But after testing it, I’m liking it and the looks are growing on me. However, I worry Nissan won’t be able to make a successor as quirky as this

Color was not my initial problem with it, but that red just became one. Good Lord, it’s horrible.

I never like when the dash is so round and bubbly. It just looks really awkward and uncomfortable to me. I love stuff like the new 7-Series where everything is a big, lovely straight line.

They may not make another, Nissan is famous for making some quirky car, selling out and not making them again. Figaro and Pao could have had successors and didn’t. They didn’t even extend the production despite all the cars selling out right away.

I hated them in pictures before they came out.

Once I saw one for real I really liked the looks but I didn’t even want to try it because CVT and the of lack of a manual AWD. I had my 6speed AWD SX4.

Now I drive a AWD CVT pathfinder.

Which one did you try? And if CVT how was it?

Well two color choices still isn’t great, but I think the new ‘customize your color’ edition lets you change that.

Scion and Saturn have taught us that designs which start out as quirky and/or unique often fade to blandness by the second generation.

They did a pretty good job of the Cube though.
